Royal Irish Constabulary Group

An original Photograph dating from circa 1880s - 1890s, taken by J.Rosbotham, 120 Dublin road, Belfast.
A nice late 19thc R.I.C image showing uniformed police
in fine clear detail.
The actual uniform detail is of course always of interest to collectors & historians.
Of note are the belt buckles & holders for handcuffs etc, the collar number insignia, swagger stick, etc.
As with all photographs, you get something of a sense of the character & personality of each of these men.
